Theme of the Ayat

The Price of Breach: Trading truth and oaths for a small price leads to eternal loss.

The Insight

Those who break their covenant with God and violate their oaths to gain a small worldly price have no share in the Hereafter. Value your integrity above all wealth. Your spiritual integrity and reliability are your most valuable assets. Sacrificing them for a temporary financial gain guarantees ultimate and permanent loss.
