آيات AYAT.ONE
هٰۤاَنۡـتُمۡ هٰٓؤُلَآءِ حٰجَجۡتُمۡ فِيۡمَا لَـكُمۡ بِهٖ عِلۡمٌ فَلِمَ تُحَآجُّوۡنَ فِيۡمَا لَـيۡسَ لَـكُمۡ بِهٖ عِلۡمٌ​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يَعۡلَمُ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ‏  ۝
Ha antum haola-i hajajtumfeema lakum bihi AAilmun falima tuhajjoona feemalaysa lakum bihi AAilmun wallahu yaAAlamu waantumla taAAlamoon
Here you are - those who have argued about that of which you have some knowledge, but why do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge? And Allāh knows, while you know not.

The Folly of Argument: Arguing about what you know versus what you don't.

The Insight

The verse condemns arguing about matters of which they have no knowledge. Practice intellectual restraint. Do not engage in arguments or spread opinions on matters where your knowledge is superficial, especially concerning sacred texts or history. Silence is better than ignorant debate.
