آيات AYAT.ONE
مِنۡ قَبۡلُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَاَنۡزَلَ الۡفُرۡقَانَ  ؕ​ اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ شَدِيۡدٌ  ​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَزِيۡزٌ ذُو انۡتِقَامٍؕ‏  ۝
Min qablu hudan linnasiwaanzala alfurqana inna allatheena kafaroo bi-ayatiAllahi lahum AAathabun shadeedun wallahuAAazeezun thoo intiqam
previously, as a guide for people, and ˹also˺ revealed the Decisive Authority. Surely those who reject Allah’s revelations will suffer a severe torment. For Allah is Almighty, capable of punishment.

The Criterion of Guidance: The purpose of divine books is to distinguish truth from falsehood.

The Insight

The Scriptures were sent to guide mankind and provide the definitive standard (the Criterion) to separate right from wrong. Value moral clarity. Use the Qur'an not merely for inspiration, but as a clear legal and moral guide. Reject the cultural tendency to blur ethical lines, knowing that God has provided a sharp tool for discernment.
