Surah Al-Imran (3:160)

اِنۡ يَّنۡصُرۡكُمُ اللّٰهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَـكُمۡۚ وَاِنۡ يَّخۡذُلۡكُمۡ فَمَنۡ ذَا الَّذِىۡ يَنۡصُرُكُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ ؕ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ‏ ۝

In yansurkumu Allahu falaghaliba lakum wa-in yakhthulkum faman thaallathee yansurukum min baAAdihi waAAala Allahifalyatawakkali almu/minoon

If Allāh should aid you, no one can overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who is there that can aid you after Him? And upon Allāh let the believers rely.

Theme of the Ayat

The Source of Victory: God's help is absolute; His abandonment is absolute loss.

The Insight

If God helps you, no one can overcome you. If He abandons you, no other helper exists. Secure divine favor. Focus all your efforts on earning God's assistance through obedience and sincerity. External resources are meaningless if God withdraws His support.
