We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve for what they have associated with Allāh of which He had not sent down any authority. And their refuge will be the Fire, and wretched is the residence of the wrongdoers.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Psychological Weapon: God casts terror into the hearts of the enemies.

The Insight

God promised to cast terror into the hearts of the disbelievers because they ascribed partners to God without divine authority. Use the weapon of monotheism. The greatest psychological advantage of the believers is the disunity and fear of the polytheists. Your strong, unwavering monotheism is the most potent psychological force against your enemies.
