And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be taken from it, nor will they be aided.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Final Isolation: No intercession or ransom will be accepted on Judgment Day.

The Insight

This warning stresses that on the Day of Judgment, no soul can intercede for another, no ransom will be accepted, and no support will be given. Prepare personally. Relying on family, reputation, or wealth will fail you then. Your only preparation for that isolation must be personal righteousness and sincere deeds today.
