He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Value of Wisdom: Understanding the aims of God's law.

The Insight

Wisdom is defined as a great bounty, granted only to those whom God chooses, enabling them to understand the deeper purposes of God's commandments. Seek profound understanding. Don't be satisfied with merely knowing the rules (halal/haram). Strive for the wisdom (*Hikmah*) that enables you to correctly evaluate every situation and make the most righteous decision.
