Have you not considered those who left their homes in many thousands, fearing death? Allāh said to them, "Die"; then He restored them to life. And Allāh is the possessor of bounty for the people, but most of the people do not show gratitude.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Test of Death: The story of the town that feared death and were revived.

The Insight

This tells the story of a community that abandoned their homes for fear of death, only to be struck dead by God and then revived to show His power. Face life's challenges bravely. Running away from your responsibilities or challenges out of fear is futile. True security comes only from God, and He can give life and death regardless of your location.
