Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such trial has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until even their messenger and those who believed with him said, "When is the help of Allāh?" Unquestionably, the help of Allāh is near.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Cost of Paradise: Trials of suffering, fear, and questioning divine help.

The Insight

Believers are warned that they will not enter Paradise without enduring suffering, hardship, and fear, leading them to question when God's help will come. Expect the cost of high ideals. Do not be discouraged by suffering. Hardship is a necessary purification for true success; persistence through the pain ensures you are worthy of the goal (Paradise).
