There is no blame upon you for seeking bounty from your Lord during ḥajj. But when you depart from ʿArafāt, remember Allāh at al-Mashʿar al-Ḥarām. And remember Him, as He has guided you, for indeed, you were before that among those astray.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Balance of World and Spirit: Seeking livelihood and remembering God during pilgrimage.

The Insight

It is permitted to seek provision (trade or profit) during the pilgrimage, but remembrance of God must be maintained, especially at the sacred sites. Integrate faith and work. God allows for worldly endeavor, but never at the expense of spiritual duty. Always remember God while conducting business, maintaining a balance (*Deen* and *Dunya*) that integrates work with worship.
