آيات AYAT.ONE
Surah Al-Baqarah 2:167
وَقَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ اتَّبَعُوۡا لَوۡ اَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّاَ مِنۡهُمۡ كَمَا تَبَرَّءُوۡا مِنَّا ؕ كَذٰلِكَ يُرِيۡهِمُ اللّٰهُ اَعۡمَالَهُمۡ حَسَرٰتٍ عَلَيۡهِمۡؕ وَمَا هُمۡ بِخٰرِجِيۡنَ مِنَ النَّارِ‏ ۝
Waqala allatheena ittabaAAoolaw anna lana karratan fanatabarraa minhum kamatabarraoo minna kathalika yureehimu AllahuaAAmalahum hasaratin AAalayhim wamahum bikharijeena mina annar
Those who followed will say, "If only we had another turn at worldly life so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated themselves from us." Thus will Allāh show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.

The Eternal Regret: Wishing for a return to correct past failures.

The Insight

The followers will cry out, wishing they could return to the world to disown their false leaders as the leaders disowned them. Live without regret. Recognize that you cannot undo choices after death. Make today the day you abandon toxic influences and commit to truth, so your future self doesn't regret today's decisions.
