AYAT.ONE

And yet, among the people are those who take other than Allāh as equals to Him. They love them as they should love Allāh. But those who believe are stronger in love for Allāh. And if only they who have wronged would consider that when they see the punishment, they will be certain that all power belongs to Allāh and that Allāh is severe in punishment.

Tadabbur (Reflection)

Theme of the Ayat

The Power of True Love: Prioritizing the Creator over all human loyalties.

The Insight

This contrasts true believers, who love God more than anything else, with those who ascribe partners, loving them as they should love God. Test your love. Examine where your greatest energy, attention, and devotion goes. The intensity of your love for God should exceed your love for your family, career, or desires.
