Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident what they concealed. Those - I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful.

Theme of the Ayat

The Open Door: The three conditions for receiving divine acceptance.

The Insight

The verse outlines the path to acceptance after sin: they must repent, rectify their actions, and clearly declare the truth they previously concealed. Repent publicly for public sin. If your mistake caused public confusion or harm, your correction must be equally transparent and public. True repentance involves changing action (rectifying) and correcting perception (declaring truth).
