آيات AYAT.ONE
وَمَنۡ يَّرۡغَبُ عَنۡ مِّلَّةِ اِبۡرٰهٖمَ اِلَّا مَنۡ سَفِهَ نَفۡسَهٗ ​ؕ وَلَقَدِ اصۡطَفَيۡنٰهُ فِى الدُّنۡيَا ​ۚ وَاِنَّهٗ فِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصّٰلِحِيۡنَ‏  ۝
Waman yarghabu AAan millati ibraheemailla man safiha nafsahu walaqadi istafaynahufee addunya wa-innahu fee al-akhiratilamina assaliheen
And who would be averse to the religion of Abraham except one who makes a fool of himself. And We had chosen him in this world, and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous.

Theme of the Ayat

The Sign of Stupidity: Abandoning the path of Abraham only out of folly.

The Insight

This asserts that only one who is truly foolish or dull-witted would abandon the religion of Ibrahim, who was chosen and perfected by God. Value intellectual soundness in faith. Deviation from the established, pure path of monotheism is not intellectual sophistication; it is profound folly. Follow the path proven by the wise.
